  • Dirty Dancin’ of Jazz

Had the pleasure of playing for a private blues dance tonight. ( I’m sure music will be coming soon ) OMFG!
You wanna see some hot moves…man these cats ( and I mean the truest sense of the term ) they were in dancing
heat. I kind of felt intrusive to watch a couple dancing, the way they were moving it was more then dancing.
It was like sex with clothes on. If anyone says, “hey, you wanna go to a blues dance?” The answer is always
    yes.

  • Laser from your eyes

Check out this simple, yet highly addictive game called
    reflections. After an hour or
so, you’ll be shooting lasers out of your eye because they will either be from your god like feeling of triumph or demonic rage of frustration.

  • Just oneword is all it takes

A nifty community blog. They give you a word and you write about that word for 60 seconds. Then you post it.
Easy peasy window to the soul. Give it a shot, why not?

  • Stumbling through the internet

Rather then surfing through the internet, lately I’ve been stumbling. It’s a
nifty idea of sharing cool sites I’ve come across and sharing like minded topics. Depending on the variety of your topics, you could be stumbling for hours. Plus the list is always growing. All you need to do, is say you like a site, and “viola” it’s added.

  • It’s the shoes

Last night our band played a gig at trees cafe. Normally I wouldn’t toot my own horn ( no, considering I play
a sax, there was no initial intent for humour, however, the more I make a side comment on the fact that there
is no humour, the more humour being to emerge…funny ), however, I was on fire! And I have to give credit
where credit was due, my shoes.

I had a previous gig, however I was wearing my “fancy” shoes. The gummy sole stuck to the floor and they sure
as hell were uncomfortable. I decided for this gig to screw the foot attire for a nice old pair of shredded
up airwalks. When the song started I realized that my feet we slipping on the floor and I was able to slide
them all around. I was moving and swaying and it went from there. So I say thank you old pair of shoes…thank
    you.

What to hear a sample of me? I’m the low sax in this chart called Deed I do, or maybe something a little more
slow like Georgia On My Mind. Staring: Aaron “Blue” Morris – guitar, Carly Jepsen – vocals, Greg Lui – tenor
sax, Nick Kempinski (”me”) – baritone sax, Georgia Korba – bass, Soegi Hartono – drums.

  • The Alchemist

When my friend Vanessa makes a book suggestion it’s one to follow! So far The
    Alchemist
is turning out to be a very poignant and powerful fable. At the core is a message about following you “Personal
Legend” and the ups and downs that come along with it. I’m not done yet, so I’m not able to speak too much about it, but I’m so enthralled by it, that I had to share it with the world.

  • Always have your eye’s open.

I’m looking through a site called PureVolume and came across
    Xerarch

2018-02-25: Link Missing I’ll look for the podcast file. fingers crossed

  • Friends for friends

I’ve added a link to my friends in the sidebar: Robots Hate Cancer. Reason being my friend Daniel, has a good
friend of his going through this battle against cancer. And the site has been set up for 2 things. 1 – It’s a
great way to get out there the perspective of our generation the (20s-30s) going through this ordeal. 2 – It
ain’t cheap, so they are using it as a platform to raise money.

In our brief conversation earlier today, an interesting thought came up on the necessary mind set that is
needed. It’s the survival, the necessity to fight. as they are saying in the site, “we can do more than wear
our stylish bracelets.” Just looking at the site shows this. It’s more like !#$& YOU CANCER! And I think
that’s the best and most powerful mindset to have. So I post this article not out of “poor poor” person with
cancer, but more like FNA! Let’s all give cancer the finger while we burn it to hell with lasers shooting
    from our eyes.

  • Lonely Pedestal

Wake up caged amongst the lost
    Walking through their world
    Look at the posters pointing
    The way not traveled has
    been traveled too much
    This world rich with illusion
    You think you’re found
    You think it’s wise
    To walk amongst the found
    is not travelling at all
    On a pedestal looking up
    In your caged Freedom
    I’m alive and drenched in
    the lonely
    The Lonely we are
